Motivation and Employee Longevity Introduction The research question of this paper is what are the causes and effects of employee longevity and motivation on businesses in the United States of America. This study will enable us gain more understanding regarding effects and causes of longevity and motivation to businesses. The existing current knowledge is that employee motivation enables them to work very hard. If the employee longevity and motivation are part of a business setting, there will be increased performance; because, human beings are more likely to perform better with the availability of incentive.

The purpose of the study will be to assess the effects and causes of employee tenure about businesses within the United States. The independent variables within this study are longevity and motivation. The blocking variable will include the subject’s age gender. The extraneous variable within this study will be the type of employment. Finally, the dependent variable will be businesses in the United States of America.Hypothesis The causes and effects of employee longevity affect business within the United States positively.

Evaluation of the selected hypothesis will begin with identifying a null hypothesis thereafter; will be formulating an alternative hypothesis. Later on, it will be specifying the significance level. Afterwards, I will perform a comparison analysis with the aim of establishing test scores. The final stage will be the conclusion whereby, I will either reject or accept the null hypothesis. The independent factor in this case will be employee longevity while the dependent variable will be business within the United States of America.

Methodology The design in use will be a true experiment design. Reason being, it is the only research method, which can evaluate the effect and cause relationship. In order, to enable efficient use the real experiment design, I will begin by determining the treatment to undergo the study; secondly, I will select the subjects that are to be part of the study. This I will do randomly to get different race, gender and age. Thirdly, I will separate the randomly selected items and embark on the study.

Finally, I will interpret the findings of my study using statistical analysis techniques. (Experiments and Quasi-Experiments 2014) The subjects in the study are employees of various companies within United States. They will be randomly selected based on age, gender, ethnicity among many more aspects. I will use questionnaires as my experimental materials. When I first arrive in different businesses premises, which will be my fields of study at the time, I will administer questionnaires to the randomly selected subjects.

With regard to validity, I will deal with issues related to internal and external validity by making sure that the investigators conclusion is right; by assessing if the dependent variable depends on other factors; and by evaluating if indeed the changes occurring in the independent variable are responsible for the change in the dependent variable. Data analysis After data collection, I will do an analysis to evaluate the collected information of the random selected subjects. Thereafter, I will perform Pearson Correlation coefficient to establish the existence of the relationship between independent and dependent variables.

From the findings, employee motivation and longevity positively influence the performance of businesses in the United States. Discussion From the research questions; and hypothesis formulated the conclusions; it is expected that that businesses, which will utilize both employee motivation and longevity are likely to experience increased performance in both their production and sales. However, I might be wrong because of how I collected the data; subjects I included in my sample; and how I measured the variables.

The potential implication of these findings is that the majority of business owners are likely to adopt employee motivation and longevity. Consequently, they will be of great importance to businesses. (Salkind, 2009)Conclusion External and internal validity improves the quality of the findings. These forms of validity are only achievable by evaluating whether the dependent variable depends on other factors. Similarly, validity is also attainable by assessing if the changes in the independent variables are responsible for the changes in the dependent variable.
