The company has responded to these issues by improving on their social responsibility and public relations. The company has also committed itself to improve working conditions and increase benefits such as health benefits. Burchell & Jennifer posit that cultural “feel” of the organization is that “intrinsic” motivator encouraged in meeting the goals of the organization (160-170). Pride motivates employees, which in turn fosters creativity and eventually leads to innovation. Hence human resources and leaders in the organization would benefit from hiring people who evidence the motivation and creative skills needed in continuing the vision for the future success of the organization. Of priority is hiring individuals who demonstrate innovative thinking in their areas of specialization. Hiring these types of candidates would support the vision and mission of the organization. Google’s domination is characterized by radical invention which has really put the industry on tore and even driven the industrial dynamic. Internet industry is an evolutionary model of industry since it is accompanied with routines and competencies as well as intrinsic organizational content. Players in this industry do things differently and uniquely thus leading to persistent differential performance. Demand for the internet services has gone so high that it greatly influences the industry’s dynamics as well as innovations (Malerba 280-290). Competition in the internet industry is indeed very high but there are obvious leaders who have led the industry in terms of both market share and innovation. Although yahoo is also making some significant progress, Google still remains on top. The structure and the state of emergence in the internet industry are very important as far as innovations are concerned. Most of the internet users look for the fastest and the most efficient internet to enhance communication (Malerba 295-298). The firm that can provide the uniqueness, efficiency and speed in the internet industry will automatically gain competitive edge. Internet serves a number of customers by providing services such as Web Access, E-mail messaging, internet messages to receive billing, make payments, ability to download several files. Even despite the many available internet users globally, more users continue to grow. Internet companies require heavy investments thus lowering the threat of new entrance because the existing firms operate on cost and differentiation strategies. There is likeliness of internet industry remaining competitive with the larger internet subscribers and the profitability will depend mainly on ability to develop new products and provision of better services. According to Malerba Innovation therefore remains integral for every company in the industry (280-286). 4 U.S federal government and state governments have been very supportive to various businesses. Harborne & Hendry argue that the government uses numerous incentives to promote most of the companies and this greatly encourages investors (498-505). Solar panel industry in USA is one of the companies receiving massive support from the federal government both in terms of incentives and friendly laws put across to promote the green technology. The America’s solar energy industry receives massive support from both the federal and state governments as well as unrelenting public backing which provides an excellent advantage to the industry. It is worth noting that the institutional framework in the United States is an absolutely dominant market force. However, success of the industry is threatened by the potential Chinese dominance in the solar energy market globally. The government policy has been very helpful in promoting the solar industry as a means of promoting renewable and environmental friendly energy. It therefore plays a major role in influencing the panel prices by introducing incentives such s subsidies. The assistance has made the solar industry to give other industries on grid electricity sources fierce competition through pricing (Harborne & Hendry 505-510). Additionally, the U.S has always aimed at nurturing green nature technologies and enhancing American exports. Department of energy has made attempts to commercialize solar technology as well as restoration of America’s power in the solar energy production. Solar energy also takes advantage of anti-dumping laws introduced by the U.S government to prevent China’s products in the country and further constrain competition. The American Solar industry can positively build on the advantages of anti-dumping laws to create barriers of entry for Chinese incursion into its markets. Moreover, the government is committed to nurturing green nature technologies and enhancing American exports. Department of energy in the U.S has commercialized solar technology and are making all the efforts to restore America’s power in the solar energy production.
