Another part in which this particular paper will cover is the examination of how the prevalence of the Avian Flu pandemic has been possible and how it has been viciously mitigated using the most practical and varied strategies that are both long-term and short-term (Wambaugh, 1999). This paper also has expounded on the impact which the two cases have on society as a whole. The paper has given a precise conclusion giving details on how both cases should be handled in society in order to get the best out of the knowledge that we have on the cases (Felch & al, 2007).

DNA profiling/ DNA testingDeoxyribonucleic acid, known by initials as DNA, caries hereditary material which is found in all cells of all living things. The process of DNA profiling is one of the very important techniques that are used by renowned forensic scientists to help them in the identification of individuals by their DNA arrangements (Lederman, 2011). DNA profiles are a particular set of encrypted numbers that show individual persons make up of their DNA. The process of DNA profiling is very important in cases such as the investigation of criminals and the process of parental testing; hence the two processes are important in resolving cases in court by providing evidence that is credible (Wambaugh, 1999).

The DNA of a human being is usually made up of the known four base pairs, these are Adenine, Cytosine, Thymine, and Guanine (Wambaugh, 1999). The process of DNA profiling was brought into daylight by Sir Alec Jeffreys in the year 1984 at the University of Leicester in England. He identified went ahead and identified individuals based on the unique arrangement in their DNA for a myriad of reasons (Helderman, 2011). One of the reasons he did this was to find a way of identifying the parent of children through either paternal or maternal testing, the process also helped a lot in differentiating amongst the non-fraternal twins that are born, through this process, it was very easy to identify the alleged mother or father, the process of differentiating amongst the non-fraternal twins, and for siblings who want to find out their lineages.
